Just moved into the city, and I was in desperate need of a barber on a Sunday. Couldn’t find any shop open except for this and 2 others. When looking at the reviews I got super comfortable to book with Rashaad.
Let me tell you, from the moment I walked in, I knew I was going to get taken care of. I’ve never had a barber look at 2 photos of my hair and execute it correctly, but Rashaad did more than just that. He made sure to take a few extra minutes to make sure my cut matched the photo EXACTLY. Couldn’t be more happier to have a professional gentlemen like Rashaad. 10/10, no doubt

Rashaad has been nothing but great to me in my 3 years of going here. I never have to worry about the quality of the service or if he will be on time, which is important to me as I usually try and go to get cut during my lunch break or downtime at work. Would highly recommend him if you want a reliable/professional barber.

Have been getting my haircut at Chicago Haircuts & Shaves for several years now. I spent far too long trying out different shops and salons around Chicago with mixed results. I was so grateful to be referred to Rashaad and crew as the haircuts are always top-notch (great attention to detail) and quick. The new location in Lakeview is very conveniently located.

This is a great barbershop! I've been going to Rashaad for the last couple of years and have consistently enjoyed the experience. He really understands his craft and what his clients need. I can always count on him to provide me with a fresh cut and engage in some great conversation while it's going on. Appreciate all that they do.

I moved to Chicago about 2 years ago and looked at a few different barber shops before I decided to give Chicago Haircuts & Shaves a shot. It only took one cut and I haven’t been anywhere else since. Rashaad always does a great job and I leave feeling and looking clean. He’s also really flexible and works with my busy schedule. If you’re looking at these reviews and thinking about trying somewhere new, or new in town like me, give CH&S a shot.
