This is your quintessential late-night Mexican spot. No frills, but so good. The service was super fast, chill and friendly staff, and the food was excellent. I grabbed a burrito (barbacoa) and some horchata, definitely the best I’ve had in a while. Must visit if you’ve got late night munchies in Wicker

Starting off by saying that the prices at this joint are insane. $19.50 for a carne asada burrito, and $8.20 for chips and guac is ridiculous 😂 gf and I came in at 1am for food and i ended up finding a hair in my burrito. They did offer to make me another one, for what that’s worth, but im never coming back here again. They’re taking advantage of people that don’t know any better in a nice neighborhood.. don’t come here, there are way better places around for your money’s worth.

OK people once again let’s review this restaurant. This was one of the best restaurants on Ashland $ division I know everything‘s been going up every year but this restaurant literally exaggerates they’re charging $6.85 for one taco and doesn’t even have enough meat like Brother are you serious? La Pasadita is not even a brand I used to be good, but you guys are exaggerating with the price $30 for one person to eat I rather go to the buffet instead anyways people you guys decide where you wanna spend your money at but there are other restaurants pretty good more portion for your money
POOR PORTION MEAT ON TACO FOR $6.85
Not coming here no more
Also, I noticed all this restaurants are overcharging just because of the area. My suggestion is if you guys gonna charge extra for the food let it be worth it don’t just increase the prices just to get money.

At La Pasadita, it's clear that the focus is on the food. Their five-star reputation is built on the back of their Carne Asada Burrito—a hefty, flavor-packed meal. Yes, I weighed my burrito for this review and it weighed in at an impressive 1 lb 2.5 oz.
The steak is marinated and grilled to create a burrito filling that's both juicy and satisfying, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with just the right amount of onions and cilantro for a fresh kick.
The side of guacamole is as straightforward as it is delicious—ripe avocados, tomatoes, and onions. It’s the perfect accompaniment to their burrito or the chips, which are always served crispy and warm. The salsa verde brings its own punch of flavor, zesty and with just enough heat to liven up each bite.
La Pasadita's atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a laid-back vibe that lets you relax and enjoy your meal. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives quickly and exactly as you like it.
Despite the generous portions, the prices at La Pasadita are surprisingly reasonable, giving you more than your money's worth. The casual atmosphere and the no-nonsense service add to the charm of this local spot.
In a city full of dining choices, La Pasadita stands out for doing the basics exceptionally well. It’s a place where you can expect a satisfying meal without any unnecessary fuss—just good, honest cooking that’s consistently delicious.
Each visit to La Pasadita is a reminder that sometimes the simplest meals are also the most memorable. Whether it’s your first time eating here or your fiftieth, the food’s authenticity and quality shine through, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone in search of a great Mexican meal.
